These engine mounts are on our 1978 Cal 2-25 with a Yanmar YSM8 inboard. Anyone recognize the mounts used here? The stud is 5/8", arount 4.5" tall overall, with mounting bolts 4" apart. I believe they may be Vetus but it would be nice to have a second set of eyes look at them, especially from others familiar with Cals. I had planned on replacing them this past week, and thought I was smart by buying Yanmar mounts, but the measurements were way off once I got to the boat. That was the moment I realized I was not so smart by not referencing measurements and photos more closely prior to.

Additionally, does anyone have a recommendation on engine mounts to use? I've come across Vetus, Barr Marine, Bushings Inc, and maybe one or two others with same measurements as the current ones.

Thanks!

For the pictures they do look like Vetus mounts, but I've not used Vetus so it's just a comparison of pictures.

I am in what I hope to be the final steps in my repower to replace the original Farymann engine with a Yanmar 2GM20F in my Cal 2-29. I opted for OEM Yanmar engine mounts. I got a set which has both the front and rear mounts as specified. (Different "shore: values for the rubber/neoprene.)

I had new rear engine mount brackets (The part that bolts to the block and actual mount.) made to move the mount out a bit.
I had the front mounts modified to also move them out and back 1.5 inches. The mounts now fit nicely on the stringers, or they should once I get time to install them. :D

Howdy ,My cal 29 has an atomic 4 that I am quite comfortable with . it has 154 hrs since I overhauled and balanced the engine . The motor mts were replaced at the same time . Sadly I can't remember the brand .
