We are using a Harken unit 0 from 1992 and even with much abuse it is still working great.

Do you know the difference between a type O and a type one roller furler

Did you check their website? Mine is Harken IV type 1

The unit 0 has a max length of 38.5 ft while we unit one has a max length of 52 ft The unit one is more expensive. You would need to call Harken or send them a email to see if there is a difference in the bearings, the construction appears very close to the same. My unit 0 from 1992 looks entirely different and I have a foil with a double track. That allows me to make faster sail changes, but I don't do that anymore.
