How to reply to a post (please don't reply to digest emails)

I wanted to post a little info because a few people have replied to forum posts by responding to the digest emails. Those emails only go to me and they don't show on the website.

If you are signed up for digests, you'll get the emails with recent posts and replies. If you want to reply to the post, you can either:

Go to the website, find the post.

or

In the digest email, click on the topic which will take you to the post on the website.

then:

Click on the "Post Reply" button at the top of the page or scroll to the bottom and fill out "Quick Reply". There is another "Post Reply" button at the bottom of the page.

Is that why my long reply to the reefing thread vanished? Will this one show up because I probably did this the same way by clicking "Post Reply"

This reply is correct. I did not receive an email with your reply to the reefing thread. Did you see it on the website and then it disappeared?
